Most of our surgeons are fellowship-trained in bariatric surgery (weight loss surgery). This is the highest level of training a surgeon can receive in this field.  They have undergone extensive training specifically in bariatric surgery, beyond that which is required by the American Society of Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery.

At the Texas Center for Medical & Surgical Weight Loss in San Antonio, Texas, we offer private consultations as well as group educational seminars for weight loss surgery. Surgery is performed at Center of Excellence hospitals in San Antonio, complete with state-of-the-art equipment and specialized nursing care.

We provide nutritional, exercise, and psychological counseling as well as support group sessions for our patients, both before and after surgery. We believe a comprehensive approach is critical to ensuring the safest and most effective weight loss surgery. Medically-supervised weight loss is available for those who do not qualify for or who are not interested in surgery. Our goal is to provide the tools, guidance, and understanding that can defeat obesity and transform health and lives.
